The ramp plate provides the inclined surface that guides the variator rollers during CVT ratio changes. Its precise geometry determines the rate at which the transmission shifts, directly influencing acceleration characteristics and engine RPM holding.

Installation guidance: Position with the stamped orientation mark facing outward. Secure with the three M6 screws (torque: 8-10 Nm). Ensure the roller tracks are clean and free of debris. Do not apply lubricant to the ramp surfaces.
Replace when the ramp surfaces show pitting, scoring deeper than 0.2mm, or discoloration from overheating. A worn ramp plate causes erratic shifting and premature roller wear.
