This lower throttle housing forms the bottom half of the throttle control assembly, providing structural support for the throttle tube and mounting the return spring mechanism. It bolts to the upper housing to create a complete enclosure around the throttle grip mechanism.

Installation guidance: Separate from the upper housing by removing the two M5 screws. Transfer the throttle tube and spring to the new lower housing. Ensure the spring locates correctly in its retaining posts. Reassemble with light torque (4-5 Nm) to prevent cracking.
Replace when the housing is cracked from impact or overtightening, when the screw threads are stripped, or when the integrated bushing is worn causing throttle tube wobble.
